Apparently homonyms are a serious problem for Demi Lovato.
Demi Lovato surprised some schoolgirl fans by driving them home recently thanks to BBC Radio 1 and Nick Grimshaw and while everyone involved had a great time, Lovato managed to drop another clanger on par with her whole 'Mug-gate' mistake from earlier this month.
Either she's a very good actor and managed to sell the fact that she confused 'genes' for 'jeans' or she has a problem with words that sound a like. She was also concentrating on not crashing while driving on the 'wrong' side of the road for the first time so we'll give her the benefit of the doubt and say she was distracted.
Then things got real as the girls asked Demi some pre-written questions from Grimmy, asking how much money she's worth, whether or not Iggy Azalea's butt is real and admits to actual managing to bypass the driving part of her driving test with an autograph.
That's America people. They can't tell their homonyms apart but they let you on the road with an autograph. Explains a lot really.
