After a record-breaking defeat, Brazil's David Luiz gave an emotional interview in which he apologised to the Brazilian people for his team's performance. However, the internet has decided to have their way and make a parody out of it.

We've known for a while now that nothing is safe on the internet, especially not the heartfelt tears of a broken man after his side was demolished in the World Cup semi-final, as the lads at Talksport got hold of the teary interview David Luiz gave after the 7-1 humiliation at the hands of Germany and gave it some pretty hilarious captions.

He's obviously not saying things like "PSG haven't found my receipt, thank God" or that he pushed on to score goals because "it's either that or rely on Fred", but it's still pretty funny.

We doubt David sees the funny side today though, that might take quite a while.
