Twan is a huge fan of Knight Rider and told the makers of Dutch reality show 'Syndroom' this. The show is to help people with "Down syndrome, autistic disorders and other syndromes fulfill their ambitions, dreams and fantasies," and boy they did they go all out for Twan who had the best day of his life.
Twan arrives in LA and promptly meets Michael Knight himself, David Hasselhoff, who remains in character throughout. Introducing him to Kitt (William Daniels recorded a message especially), the guys then drive around Beverly Hills, singing the theme tune to the classic 80s show and generally having a blast.
Fair play to Hasselhoff, who really went all out for this lad.
