Ever get so embarrassed that you wished the ground would just open up and swallow you whole? Be careful what you wish for, because the reality of the situation is far worse than you could possibly imagine.
This couple who got off a train at Yongsan Station in South Korea experienced the nightmare situation after a sinkhole opened up beneath the tiled platform they were walking on, and while thankfully only sustaining minor injuries, they still had to wait 20 minutes for emergency services to show up before they were rescued from the 3 meter deep hole.
Prepare to tread lightly and with fear everywhere for the rest of the day.
