Ever wanted to be 'The Notorious' Conor McGregor? Well your chance is here as he will make his video game debut this June after being revealed in a brand new gameplay trailer to the upcoming next generation EA Sports UFC game.
You can live out all of your fistic fantasies in the game, taking control of Crumlin's McGregor and take on all comers in the UFC. The trailer shows Conor beating seven shades of sh*te out of UFC journeyman Clay Guida in a bout that we wouldn't mind actually seeing in real life, as he rubs shoulders in the clip with UFC superstars Chuck Liddell, Georges St. Pierre, Cain Velasquez and Chris Weidman.
EA Sports have announced that the game will be released on June 17th and fans have high hopes for it, considering that this is the first time that the EA have worked with the UFC in producing a high quality mixed martial arts video game. The previous UFC game were the work of THQ and, while they were generally quite fun, the lacked a gritty sense of realism which EA is famous for bringing to their popular FIFA and Madden franchise.
Meanwhile, fight fans will get another treat if they pre-order a copy with the news that Bruce Lee will be included in the game. Lee, who has been hailed as the 'Godfather of MMA', is credited as being one of the first martial artists to fuse different styles and techniques together and many have been curious as to how he would have done in the UFC and this will be the closest we'll ever get.
