It's always fun when the late night talk show producers decide that they want to have their host interact with some wild beast, and while others may get anacondas, lion cubs and baby bears, Conan O'Brien got stuck with an owl monkey, which is of course cute and surprisingly interested in Conan's ginger mop.
Who wouldn't want to burrow into Conan's hair given the chance? It probably looked like a gold mine of delicious amber fruit to the little beastie.
