'Sexiest Man Alive?' Noooooooooo... Perhaps sexiest male to have appeared on Home & Away, but even that could be questioned. OK, the man was Thor, and he's a master of his hammer, so he has to exude come kind of sexual overtones, but he doesn't quite do it for us. Just as well considering he's a happily married man and a serious baby making machine.
The Avengers star - who was crowned People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive this year - thanked previous winner Matt Damon for helping him take home the award.
He told Jimmy Kimmel last night: "I learned everything there is about being sexy from Matt. Thank you Matt and all the other previous intelligent men."
And when asked who else he'd like to thank, Chris graciously said: "My parents, I guess, for putting this together." As for how little brother, Liam, is taking the news, the 31-year-old added: "He's been a real team player for this one. We've been throwing sexy looks back and forth all week." But sure why are you reading all this when you can hear it with yisser very own ears!
The Rush actor - who is married to Fast and Furious 6 star Elsa Pataky - recently claimed the award had given him 'a couple of weeks of bragging rights' in their house.
Chris - who has India, two, and seven-month-old twins Tristan and Saha with Elsa - said: "I can just say to her, 'Now remember, this is what the people think, so I don't need to do the dishes anymore, I don't need to change nappies. I'm above that. I've made it now."
