There were probably a lot of people in Hollywood that were very happy for Casey Affleck after he picked up the Golden Globe for Best Actor in Drama on Sunday night.
We're not sure big brother, Ben, is one of them though.
That's what happens when you get left out of an acceptance speech, you get bitter. During his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel last night, Ben admitted that he was not impressed that Casey forgot to thank him in his speech. Especially considering he thanked a whole bunch of people in the speech. He even thanked Amazon.
"He thanked Matt Damon, who's just a vile person." Kimmel quipped.
Even more damning for Casey is that Kimmel played back footage of Ben's Oscar acceptance speech for Good Will Hunting and the Live by Night star made sure to thank his little brother on that occasion.
Kimmel then switched the conversation over to whether Casey would make history by winning the Oscar for Manchester by the Sea, making it the first time that brothers won Oscars in two separate categories. Affleck said he wasn't sure about that but he did know that if Casey won then "he would be the very first person to win an Academy award that once asked his brother if Back to the Future was a true story."
