Last week, Ireland voted to legalise same-sex marriage, and after a campaign that took its toll on the emotions, the 'Yes' vote brought about great scenes of joy and celebration in the city's capital and count centres around the country.
This fantastic short film from GAZE, Dublin's International LGBT Film Festival, captures the mood as the polling centres opened, the votes were tallied and the final result was read out. The scenes of tears and happiness highlight just how important this vote was to so many around the country, and what a statement for equality Ireland has made on the international scene as a result.
Fair warning, you might have a bit of a tear in your eye watching this if you're the type of person that has human emotions. Not us, we're an unfeeling internet omnipresence, the tears would render our heartless motherboard useless.
