We're all exhausted by April Fool's Day pranks by this stage, but let's all take a moment to be grateful that regardless of whether you were pranked or not, you accidentally set your home on fire.
According to Fox News in Michigan, one female student ended up setting fire to her apartment after thinking it would be a great idea to throw a firecracker at her three fellow housemates and said firecracker landed in their laundry which promptly went up in flames. The women then began running around the complex asking neighbours for a fire extinguisher but by they time they found one the blaze had gotten out of control and three fire crews had to be called in.
Life lesson: Fire + April Fool's ≠ A good time.
