17-year-old Megan Flaherty made sure her career aspirations were very well known by taking prom arrivals to the next level.
Flaherty, who plans on being a funeral director someday, arrived at the Pennsauken High School prom on Saturday in the back of a hearse before being slid out in the open coffin she was lying in and helped out by her date.
"I like being different," she told NJ.com. "I made sure my prom date was OK with it."
"I don't think they were really processing it," she added, when asked how her peers reacted. "I'm a quiet person in school, so people didn't expect it."
