We've seen cops in smart cars, police on horseback, and the boys in blue cycling, and now they've taken to skating too.
Well, at least one of them has, as officer Joel Zwicky has decided to take his hobby from his free time into work time, and skate through the local parks on his patrols.
Zwicky has been skating for years, and has found that with this new initiative, he's managed to connect with the local kids and teens who frequent the skateparks in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
His board even comes equipped with sirens and lights, but we're not sure how successful a chase would be on it if things got a bit hairy.
