In one of the more bizarre moments on a football pitch that we can recall seeing, a Bournemouth player lost his wig last night in the game against Liverpool.
Baily Cargill, for some reason, took to the field last night in what appeared to be a wig that made him look like he had a pony-tail. We are guessing that it was a wig because in one, very strange moment, it fell from his head and landed on the pitch.
Cargill noticed it falling, but as he was striding forward with the ball at his feet he simply left it there and went about his business.
The young defender has yet to comment on it on Twitter today, but we're sure he'll explain what was going on in the fullness of time.
