How many word leaders have a rare Siberian tiger as a pet? That's the kind of animal that's reserved for badly-written Bond villians.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, Vladimir Putin's tiger, Kuzya, has escaped its handlers after it was released into the wild. The tiger's trackers now believe it has crossed the border into China and conservationists are attempting to locate him before he's captured by poachers.
Kuzya is a rare Siberian tiger that the Russian President released into the wild in May of this year.
Authorities are worried that the tiger will be hunted by poachers as tiger carcasses can reach up to $10,000 on the black market.
As it stands, rangers are making efforts to find Kuzya and keep him safe, but let's be honest - he's a freaking tiger. He can probably handle himself.
Here he is when he was released into the wild back in May.
