Then again, The Wanted's Max George was the "victim of an eager fan" who threw herself at him.
In today's Sun, you can see the crooner pictured with a female admirer after headlining the Mouth of the Tyne (hur hur) festival in Tynemouth on Saturday (14.07.12).
As the 23-year-old star headed to the Powerhouse nightclub to carry on partying, he tweeted: "Newcastle rocked!! Now for the toon!!!"
The "incident" came just days after 25-year-old girlfriend Michelle Keegan insisted the couple were still very much in love despite calling off their engagement.
The person who took the image told The Sun: "I saw him dancing with this girl and then they started kissing. It wasn't a quick peck on the cheek - they were going at it for a good couple of minutes. It was a proper snog. No one could believe how open he was about it. Everyone knows he is going out with Michelle from 'Coronation Street' and they were all amazed he was being so blatant."
However a spokesman for Max insisted he was pounced on: "The Wanted have an incredibly passionate fan base. At times the fans can be over-eager when they meet them, especially in a club or bar environment. In this case Max was approached and got slightly more than he bargained for."
He didn't exactly back away though.
