Uber, the international transportation company, are establishing a customer services hub in in Limerick City.
While 150 jobs are set to be created by the end of this year, that number is expected to double once the hub is fully operational.
The hub, which is the first outside of the US, will cater for the app's customers in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
The investment will total €4 million and has been supported by by the IDA and the government, with 50 jobs already available for application.
