The latest meme running riot on Twitter kicked off yesterday and it's about to make Irish people look awkwardly away from the internet for a while.
Sparked by the reaction in the charts and online by people Bieber's remix of Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's 'Despacito' (yes, the one he forgot the lyrics to while performing it live), the meme compares the woman whose racist rant about a Hispanic man went viral this week to a crowd of white women in a crowd screaming their approval, accompanied by the line 'White people when Hispanics speak Spanish vs when Justin Bieber speaks Spanish'.

All in all, a solid tweet. Except that the photo on the right? That's from when Obama visited Dublin in 2011, as evidenced by Trinity College in the background and the Obama badges on the girls in the front. And the fact that those women could not be more Irish.

And our national pride dims a bit with every RT.
