Zac Efron celebrated a milestone on Instagram today but it might be short lived after the manner in which he chose to celebrate it.
The Dirty Grandpa star tweeted the following on Martin Luther King day detailing the things he was grateful for.
I'm grateful for a couple things today: Martin Luther King Jr & 10 million followers on IG â˜ÂÂÂ?ðŸÂÂÂ?¿âœŠðŸÂÂÂ?¿#MLKDay pic.twitter.com/R373JoVspQ

Yeah so celebrating the life of the greatest Civil Rights leader of the 20th century and the fact that you've hit ten million followers on Instagram in the same tweet may not endear you to a lot of people.
Needless to say Twitter let him know how they felt about the matter.
.@ZacEfron you are a piece of shit

If that wasn't bad enough, High School Musical fans weren't shy about using the opportunity to let him know that they are not impressed that he won't be participating in the ten year reunion of the original TV movie.
@ZacEfron 10 million? 10? As in 10 year reunion you MESSED UP GET YOUR HEAD IN THE GAME! WERE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER!! WHAT TEAM? WILDCATS! WH

We're sure Efron is actually a cool guy so we're reluctant to thrash him for the tweet but come on Zac, haven't you read Jon Ronson's "So you've been publicly shamed?" Social Media is a minefield.
