After being one of the biggest trends of last year, it looks like the fascination and potential backstories around the ‘Distracted boyfriend’ meme will never end.
First, we had someone create a whole saga for the characters in the photo using other stock pictures the actors in the image featured in.
Now someone has discovered another heap of stock photos featuring the appalled girlfriend which show that shock is pretty much her default expression.
Twitter user Ernie Smith uncovered the photos and they are nothing short of hilarious.

The ‘distracted boyfriend meme’ was making the rounds again recently after someone discovered a Charlie Chaplin version of the image.
There is also an 18th century version of the meme.
