Daniel Day-Lewis, as we know, is famously mysterious and doesn't interact with press, media or any part of the celebrity industry on any level - as his right and prerogative.
This, of course, means that not a lot of people know a whole lot about him - but one who does is Paul Thomas Anderson, the director of There Will Be Blood and the upcoming Phantom Thread. Anderson was on Jimmy Kimmel and revealed a few interesting tidbits about the three-time Oscar winner.
"For the world's greatest actor, he has the worst taste in television," explained Anderson, and said that Day-Lewis was a huge fan of Naked & Afraid, one of those survival shows you'd see repeated constantly on Discovery Channel.
As Anderson tells it, Day-Lewis would tune in every week and was obsessed with it. Not only that, he can do a perfect Tim Gunn impression; Tim Gunn being one of the mentors on Project Runway, another reality TV show.
Who knew, eh?
