The first trailer for the follow-up to the massively successful Mortal Kombat reboot has gone online. The imaginatively titled Mortal Kombat X - X being 10 in Roman numerals - promises to make full use of "next-gen technology" and is expected to be released solely on XboxOne and PlayStation 4.
The cinematic trailer shows Scorpion and Sub-Zero squaring off in a snow-laden forest to the sounds of Whiz Khalifa. Ed Boon announced the new trailer and Khalifa's involvement via Twitter earlier today.
Initial thoughts? We've always enjoyed Mortal Kombat and the reboot was fantastically done. Injustice: Gods Amongst Us was also very well-handled so we can expect good things for those who like crazy beat-'em-ups.
