To say it's been a tumultuous year for Holly Willoughby's career is an understatement.
Willoughby's crown as Daytime TV princess was first tarnished in 2022, when she and her former co-host Philip Schofield were blasted for allegedly 'skipping' the queue when paying respects to Queen Elizabeth II.
Earlier this year, she became embroiled in the scandal that led to Schofield leaving the show, and last week, a very scary story came to light after a man was arrested and charged with conspiring to kidnap and murder her.
It seems that the latter development is the straw that broke the camel's back, as Willoughby announced on Tuesday that she would not be returning to 'This Morning' after 14 years hosting the show.
However, it is the programme's baffling 'farewell' tribute to her - which aired yesterday morning - that has had social media in ribbons.
With phrases like 'Family comes first' and 'end of an era' superimposed onto the programme's opening titles, many have noted its bizarre 'Powerpoint presentation' tone...
