In the days before memory sticks and google drive, a floppy disk was the only way to save your work. Even though they've now become obsolete, they're still recognisable as the save icon used by many software programmes.
Tech entrepreneur Bill Gross realised how just how far technology has come, or just how old he's getting, when he showed his kids an old floppy disk and their reaction wasn't quite what he expected.
