Videos of cats on YouTube are about to get a hell of a lot more interesting.

A bill before the houses in the Nevada Legislature might soon see the use of marijuana by pets made legal in the state. Democratic Senator Tick Segerblom is backing the bill that would allow pet owners to get marijuana if their veterinarian prescribes it.

While it hasn't been shown to be a pain-killer for pets, it has been stated by some vets that giving medical marijuana to sick or dying animals did help to alleviate their symptoms and improve their lives, even if only for a little while.

The move to legalise it for pets is still in the very early stages and is part of a larger bill that would make several changes regarding marijuana in the state, including removing penalties for drivers who have marijuana in their blood, so it could yet be a very trick process.
