Rose McGowan has been in the news quite a bit recently for spearheading a movement that seen hundreds of women (and men) speaking out about abuse in Hollywood and beyond - but now she's making headlines for a different reason.
A warrant for the actress's arrest has been issued in Virginia, reportedly related to bags that she left behind on a flight that landed at Dulles Airport in Washington D.C in January of this yea. The bags were tested by police and reportedly were positive for narcotics, although they did not specify which narcotics.
A spokesman for the airport police said: "Our police have attempted to contact Ms. McGowan so that she can appear in a Loudoun County, Virginia court to respond to the charge."
McGowan, on the other hand, has not responded except to call the claims 'horsesh*t' and suggest that the charge was an 'attempt to silence [her]'.
Are they trying to silence me? There is a warrant out for my arrest in Virginia. What a load of HORSESHIT.
