Remember when someone nicked Lady Gaga's French bulldogs and shot her dog walker? Well, U.S officials are upping the ante in the search for the suspected perpetrator.
The man in question is 19-year-old James Howard Jackson, who was held in police custody and was charged along with two other men with "attempted murder and robbery" while trying to kidnap Gaga's three French bulldogs Koji, Asia, and Gustav, according to the police statement.
Unfortunately, due to what the police deems a "clerical error", the man was accidentally released from custody on the 6th of April 2022. To that end, they are appealing to anyone who may have information on his whereabouts.
In the statement issued last Monday, police are offering a reward to the tune of up to 5 thousand dollars for any information that can be used to aid in their investigation.
Detailing the incident in the report, the police state that "Jackson is alleged to have shot dog walker Ryan Fischer with a .40-caliber handgun while he was walking the three dogs in Los Angeles."
They elaborate on the injuries suffered by the dog walker "Fischer sustained a through-and-through gunshot wound to his chest and was transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center".
Thankfully, the two dogs that were successfully kidnapped, Gustav and Koji, were returned to the singer within two days after she had offered a 500 thousand dollar reward to be reunited with the pups.
