Max George gives us very little reason to consider him a nice boy. Keen to add fuel to the fire that is his feud with Zayn Malik of One DIrection fame, The Wanted frontman says he would bet 'thousands' on him beating Zayn in a fight.
Apparently, he would 'absolutely' love to get in a ring with Malik and is fully convinced he'd flatten him. Is this something you'd want to see? What if it were all in aid of a good cause? Do you think Max would reign supreme?
Speaking to Yahoo! omg!, George revealed: 'I did read that he challenged me to a fight and that I turned him down... Listen, if he asked and I've said no then I must have said it by accident because absolutely [I'd like to have a fight with him]... Can you actually get odds on that? Listen, we can put thousands on and make sure that happens.'
24 year old Max is said to have his other numb-nut bandmates backing, should he enter a physical challenge against his 20-year-old nemesis. Though perhaps there's one nice one of the group, Jay McGuinness, who insists some of One Direction stars are 'quite friendly', which they are. Perhaps the rest of the lads should just grow up, admit that their rivalry is fuelled by their jealousy at One Direction's overriding success and generally stop behaving like a pack of knobs.
Speaking at the Capital FM Summertime Ball at London's Wembley Stadium yesterday (09.06.13), Nathan Sykes told BANG Showbiz: 'Max is the bookies favourite to win a fight against Zayn.'
Jay added: 'I think he's got some good fighting skills and he can take a hit as well. He doesn't bruise very easily... We don't hang out with One Direction or anything but some of them are quite friendly.'
