Unsurprisingly, after the video for Beyonce and Jay Z’s (aka The Carters’) music video ‘APES**T’ dropped over the weekend, a new meme has arisen, thanks to the video’s Louvre setting.
And no, we’re not talking about the ‘When you can’t fold the fitted sheet’ meme, though we are fans of that one too.

The music video features a shot of the couple dressed in pastel suits in front of Leonardo da Vinci’s famous ‘Mona Lisa’ painting.
Twitter users in different fandoms have since turned the scene into a meme to serve their point of interest – because why the heck not?

The Louvre have released a statement regarding the music video being shot in the museum, saying they were “quickly convinced” to give approval to Beyonce and Jay Z to shoot “because the synopsis showed a real attachment to the museum and its beloved artworks.”
The video is part of the ‘Everything is Love’ album which the power couple dropped by surprise last weekend.
