You may remember we mentioned yesterday that there was a serious amount of solar flare / sun storm activity due in the next few days.

According to Astronomy Ireland, tonight's the best chance of seeing the famous Northern Lights, also known as Aurora Borealis.
Better still, if you live in the Northern part of the country, around Donegal, you're in the best possible position.
The Northern Lights is one of the most stunning displays in astronomy and is a result of solar wind particles becoming guided by Earth's magnetic field.
