The 'Be like Bill' memes are dividing Facebook.
Much like marmite, you either love them or you hate them. You've probably already seen them clogging up your newsfeed but if not let's give you a brief overview of what the 'Be like Bill' memes are all about.
They're very simple memes of a stick figure named Bill along with a message of what Bill does or doesn't do and why you should follow this advice and "Be like Bill".
There are few social faux pas' that Bill has yet to comment on as you can see from the collection below.
So you're either going to love the sentiment behind these memes or you're going to hate that there's some guy making memes telling you to act more like a stick figure. Like we said, marmite.
The "Be like Bill" page was set up by a Moldovan man named Eugeni Croituru. He told the BBC that the idea behind "Be like Bill" is a simple one.
"Bill can be anyone who is smart and has common sense and doesn't do annoying things. You'll also notice Bill can be someone who makes fun of himself and jokes about others too occasionally."
The memes have become so popular that they've even been translated into different languages. It also has a rival page called "Don't be like Bill"
Croituru is also having to contend with critics posting on his page under his memes.
