A movie based (loosely) on the work of Bret Easton Ellis, Less Than Zero starred a young Robert Downey Jr. and a very young Brad Pitt. Well, Pitt was knocking around in the background somewhere but he was there, trust us.
Anyway, one of the other stars of the movie was the stunning mansion where it was all filmed, designed by famous architect John Lautner, and if you have several million dollars going spare, you could snap it up.

The house has been listed for sale with a price tag of $7.5 million (€5.6 million), but as the folks at HighSnobiety point out, with some of Lautner's other properties going for as much as $50 million, that could prove to be a bargain.

The house is known as "Silvertop" thanks to its distinctive roof, and it also has one of the first infinity pools, as Lautner always sought to create that impression of space and infinity. You may recognise many of his other works from film and TV also, most notably the Chemosphere building, which was parodied as the home of Troy McClure in The Simpsons.

The home was originally designed for Kenneth Reiner, an industrialist, but now it could be yours instead, if you're into that whole modernist-mansion-with-stunning-views vibe.
