Taylor Swift has admitted that her song I Knew You Were Trouble (from her current album 'Red') was written about One Direction's Harry Styles. Performing at last month's Brit Awards, the country and western turned mainstream pop singer hinted that it was easy for her to channel the emotion required to perform the song (yeah, 'cause it's THAT deep) with Mr Styles sitting in the audience. When asked by the Sunday Times how she felt performing with Harry in the audience she said: "Well, it's not hard to access that emotion when the person the song is directed at is standing by the side of the stage watching."
Swift then continued: "You're balancing the analytical side of your brain, which is telling you where to go and how to go there, with the other side of your brain, which is saying, 'Feel everything you're singing, and show it on your face. Feel everything exactly as you felt it when you wrote the song."
We're guessing she's none too happy about being cut entirely from the 1D documentary movie. Well at least it'll give her a nice bit of amunition for a whole string of bitter ex-boyfriend songs to drown out our airwaves with over the coming years.
