Batten down the hatches, there's a storm brewing and its name is Ernesto.
We may have got used to having an actual summer, but it's business as usual this weekend for Ireland, as the remnants of a tropical rainstorm are headed our way.
Storm Ernesto is currently brewing over the North Atlantic and is expected to hit Ireland on Saturday night.
It's set to be a sub-tropical storm by the time it hits Ireland and should pretty much just be heavy rain. It's no Beast from the East basically so nothing to get too worried about
Temperatures are still expected to be high though with Saturday night set to be warm and muggy with the possibility of thunderstorms in some places
The storm is expected to hit Connacht at around 6pm Saturday evening and the east coast around midnight. It will continue into Sunday morning however it's expected to clear by midday.
