Explains why she can't smell the stank of cheater and other girls off Zayn.
Turns out Perrie Edwards was born with no sense of smell. The Little Mix singer suffers from congenital anosmia, a rare medical condition which has left her unable to experience the sense - although she revealed she may have 'smelt coffee once'.
She told BBC's Newsbeat: 'I have never smelt anything, but I think I smelt coffee once. When people go, 'Ah she's cooking a Sunday roast', I'm like, how do you know that? I'm like, this is amazing, it's like magic.'
Now before you go crying a river and looking for a string quartet for her, she explained she hasn't felt like the condition effected her life because she has never known any different.
She added: 'People are always like, 'Oh, isn't that really horrible?' and I'm like no because I've never known what it's like to smell. If I'd had it and then it disappeared I'd be like, 'Argh!' I wear the same perfume all the time, because everyone says, 'Oh you smell nice' and then I'm like, 'Ah, OK.' '
However it does annoy her Little Mix band mates when she burps and farts in the car with no concern for the smell. Jesy Nelson previously revealed: 'On car journeys I have to scream at Perrie to open a window. She literally can't smell anything, so she burps and farts and just doesn't care because she can't smell it. I hate it. It disgusts me.'
