One of his doting friends had this to divulge to The Sun: "He thought he had a future with Tulisa. She said she wanted to get married and have children in the near future. They spent a week together in secret in her flat in London and barely left each others sides. She was vulnerable when she wasn't on the TV and he wanted to protect her. He would have done anything for her - but then she just turned cold on him. From getting 30 text messages a day from her, he suddenly started to get only a couple. And then she went to Manchester and said she was staying in with friends so she couldn't meet up with him. Jody is gutted, he feels like an idiot."

That's OK, Jody, I'd feel like an idiot too if a so called mate of mine went to The Sun and declared you thought you were going to "get married and have children in the near future" with someone you'd only met on October 9th. Yep, they met on the set of her video. Last month.

Said mate continued: "It was clear on set that they liked each other. Tulisa’s always been a Shameless fan and actually contacted Jody herself and asked him to be in the video. That night she invited him to her hotel suite and they kissed for the first time. From then on they were talking constantly. Tulisa loved the fact that Jody's so caring. He treated her with respect and doted on her... Jody really liked her. He said there was something about her that just made her special. He obviously found her really sexy too. The relationship took off quickly - physically, emotionally and mentally. Jody felt sorry for her. Tulisa was worried for her safety. She feared she could be kidnapped and was scared about it. He said she was nothing like the ghetto girl you see on TV. She was vulnerable and wanted to be cared for by him. And she let him for a while till something else clearly came along."
