Here is the second Irish partnership in association with Movember.
In the film below, which was produced by Packed.House, Daniel Savage lays it down for men across the nation.
Putting the spotlight firmly on the fact that, chances are, a man close to you is struggling with their mental health right now, the spoken word poet aims to make us aware that not what we see on the surface is necessarily how someone is feeling.
"The toxic epitome of masculinity, that fuels our sons, brothers, fathers with shame and hostility."
The signs can be subtle, like a friend who is not sleeping or a colleague who has lost interest. Having awareness for and spotting these signs can make all the difference and in fact, it could be lifesaving.
The is the second short film created by Packed.Studio, for Movember, with the first film 'Invisible Nonsense' premiering earlier this month also.
The film featured a diverse collection of well-known Irish men including Tony Cantwell, Crossy, Timi Ogunyemi, James Kavanagh, Boidu Sayeh and Harry McNulty, who each spoke of fears that they have. But which they haven't spoken only about before.
Be sure to watch the two-minute film below, which debuted on Movember's global YouTube page this morning.
