Britney Spears insists she is a good mother *snorts*. Speaking on Ryan Seacrest's KISS-FM radio show, she said: "People say what they want and do what they do. It's really sad how people - how cruel our world can be. But at the end of the day you've got to know in your heart that you are doing the best that you can. As long as you know what's up and what's true, then that's all that matters." And the truth of the matter is that your "best" is not good enough. Britney also revealed she celebrated the worldwide successful release of her new album, 'Blackout' by eating fried chicken. Britney then disappeared halfway through the phone interview to have a shower. When Ryan rang back 10 minutes later, Britney's assistant and friend Alli Sims told him the singer's children had just arrived, and Britney was too "busy" to continue the interview. Sam Lufti, Britney's movie producer friend who also just happened to be there, added: "We're going to get the kids ready and we'll go trick and treating. There's a variety of costumes for them to choose from, so we'll see what happens!" Despite frequent requests from Ryan for Britney to send a message to her fans, the singer refused to come back on air - instead relaying a message of thanks through Alli. That's Britney doing her "best" to promote her new album.
