Memorabilia can be a costly business, especially if you're looking for something rare and expensive.
This particular item on offer on iOffer certainly fits that bill, as for a mere $49,000 (€43,618) including shipping, you could own a copy of The White Album from The Beatles, signed by Charles Manson, exactly what your collection has been missing.
The album was originally in the possession of "a gentleman who was at one time associated with the Manson family at the Spahn Ranch", but who remains unnamed in the listing on the site. This gentleman went around collecting the signatures of The Manson Family (Susan Atkins, Leslie Van Houten, Charles "Tex" Watson, Pat Krenwinkel), and Charles himself, after they had been imprisoned. The White Album was significant to the Manson saga, in particular the song 'Helter Skelter', which he interpreted as a warning about a race war in America. The name of the song was written on the fridge of one of the murder scenes also, a connection which led the person who owned the album to start getting the signatures together.
Manson signed the sleeve of the album with the words "Can you live in sin or in it LAST WORD-NO easy, Charles Manson" with a swastika through his name. The album itself is not in great shape however, as it has been cut open with a knife in order to be "checked for possible contraband as it was brought into the prison" while the vinyl contains a number of scratches which may well affect playback.
