A few days ago, some of those coming home for Christmas from abroad decided that a hashtag everyone could follow was the best way to get through the festive season in Ireland. A mark of solidarity, but also just because it's plain funny, the tweets have been absolutely flying on Twitter the past few days. We're pretty sure this is why hashtags were invented. And Twitter.
