Not this header image, sure that's just him having the laughs, hanging out on a birrah tarmac with Edge. Nay, everyone's talking about the below picture, which McGregor posted to his Instagram featuring him in a balaclava and brandishing what appears to be a shotgun replica.
Posted yesterday, it's captioned: "Put the fight game in the bag and step away from the vehicle."
A Garda spokesperson had this to say via The Irish Mirror: "Gardai in Crumlin are investigating the circumstances surrounding the picture." According to the report, the picture "was taken as McGregor enjoyed some downtime with his family after claiming the UFC World Featherweight title last month."
It wasn't all bad news for McGregor yesterday, as UFC boss Dana White reportedly said he would permit the Dub to hold both featherweight and lightweight gold if he wished.
White said: "Conor has said that he would like to win the 155-pound belt and fight four times a year and defend both belts. If anybody can do it, Conor McGregor can. This guy has pretty done everything he said he would do. I'm interested... Normally I would say if you're going to move up in weight, you have to give up the belt. But Conor has done everything he said he would do. He loves to fight. He really likes money, so if anybody could do it, it's probably him."
