Don't forget your booties because it's a cooooold one out there, folks!
OK, that's from Groundhog Day and the header image is from Fargo but the message is clear - it's going to be cold for the rest of the week. Met Eireann has issued a snow-ice warning for over twenty counties across Ireland, including Cavan, Donegal, all of Connacht and all of Leinster. They also predict sleet and snow showers from Wednesday to Saturday on, as well.
A yellow warning is in place for wind from 10PM tonight in Donegal, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo. Not only that, the Road Safety Authority is issuing a warning to all road users to be way of sleet and snow for the next 72 hours.
If you're and about over the rest of the week, be careful out there and if you see Peter Stromare or Steve Buscemi stranded in the middle of nowhere, KEEP DRIVING AND DON'T STOP.
