As usual, the news was confirmed by an aging relative - in this case, Simon's 80-year-old mum, Julie. Unlike Justin Timberlake's granny Sadie, Julie did grant Simon and Terri a period of grace before blabbing the details - the couple reportedly parted ways a couple of months back.

Julie said: "Everyone in our family loves her. She's like part of the family and always will be. At the end of the day, Simon doesn't want a family and I think that's got a lot to do with it. She's a lovely girl... I'm hoping they'll get back together." Max Clifford then chimed in with: "Terri ended it in late summer. They are going to remain close friends. He understands her reason for ending it. Nobody else is involved, certainly not on Simon's side."

Speaking of Simon's side; Sinitta's husband, Andy Willner, has decided to move to Hong Kong for an undisclosed period of time. Seemingly it's for work purposes. Simon's mentoring assistant/ex-lover/constant arm fodder said: "Has he moved there permanently? Yes. I see us being a family again at some point. I'm not sure how that's going to work out but that's the idea. Not only am I experiencing motherhood for the first time (she's got two kiddies under the age of three), I'm doing it as a single parent."
