We don't mean to alarm you, but this summer is starting to feel an awful lot like, well, summer.
In news that may shock and disturb you, we can inform you that the sunny weather is making a return, almost like we are regular country with an actual summer. Nobody knows WHAT to think.
Met Eireann has confirmed that Ireland is set for a return to to warm and dry weather in the coming days, promising temperatures as high as 22C.
Today and tomorrow are set to be decent enough weather but it will be from mid-week onward that you might want to think about getting the BBQ out.
Now looking a little further out, well into what we call Fantasy Island, there is some proper heat showing on the ECWF charts, very liable to change but if I was working in purchasing for a supermarket chain I’d be ramping up ye ice-cream and Burger Bun orders 😜 pic.twitter.com/nDyMz13thk

"Mainly dry settled weather is set to become established on Thursday. The day will be rather cloudy, but dry with light winds. Temperatures will be in the mid to high teens.

Looking ahead to the weekend, they said: "Next weekend will be dry and fine with warm sunny weather prevailing. Inland temperatures are likely to get well into the twenties; fresher near coasts due to sea breezes."
Good news for anyone heading to Body and Soul Festival this weekend, just remember the profoundly wise words of Baz Luhrman folks; Always Wear Sunscreen.
