The SAG-Aftra strike continues to rage, with many Hollywood actors left with nothing to do except stage pickets and wait for a resolution to be found.

The SAG-Aftra strike is running alongside the WGA (Writer's Guild of America) strike, which means that Hollywood is a pretty quiet town right now.

Most celebrities are members of SAG-Aftra, including Selena Gomez - but the 'Only Murders in the Building' star put her foot in it yesterday when she was accused of breaking strike rules.

Gomez posted about the Hulu TV show - in which she co-stars alongside Steve Martin and Martin Short - sharing a video to her 428 million followers that appeared to be from the set, with the caption 'Missing and wanted'.

The post acquired over 1.1 million likes in just 15 hours, but was then deleted after Gomez was called out for violating the rules, which permits members to "accept new work for promotion of struck companies or their content" or "refrain from posting on social media about any struck work." They are also forbidden from attending promotional events like Comic-Con, for example.

Earlier this month, Gomez - the most followed woman on Instagram - had expressed solidarity by reposting a clip of Domhnall Gleeson discussing the strike on Irish radio station Newstalk to her Instagram Stories.

However, by making the promotional post for 'Only Murders...' - which tagged both the show's official Instagram and Hulu - she is in direct violation of strike rules.

After deleting the post, Gomez did not comment - but shortly after deleting the post, posted a picture of herself holding a card that read: "Speak your mind, even if your voice shakes."

One commenter claimed "We'll see her on the picket line by Friday" - but that remains to be seen.
