Scrapper Mania is headed to the Tivoli Theatre this weekend, so here's what to expect from Ireland's most extreme wrestling event.
When you think of professional wrestling, you might think of a world of pink spandex and fan favourites beloved by kids int he crowd buying merchandise with the face of the most inoffensive main star on them. Scrapper Mania is the other end of the diverse spectrum that is pro wrestling.
The over 18s shows mix comedy and all out action the likes of which is more akin to the glory days of cult hit ECW than the family-friendly surroundings of WWE. Their next show, Scrapper Mania, takes place in the Tivoli Theatre in Dublin on Saturday 21st March, and promises to be like nothing you've ever seen before.
This event will feature the some very best talent pro-wrestling has to offer with international stars Pete Dunne, Ryan Smile, and TNA: British Boot-camp contestant "The Bastard" Dave Mastiff all appearing alongside fan favorites The Wards, "The Lord Of The Manor" Sir Paul Tracy and "The Lads From The Flats" Martin and Workie.
There's definitely an edge of humour to what Over the Top Wreslting provides, but if you like your hits big and your crowd enthusiastic (helped by the great drinks promotions that they have on offer at the events) then you'll definitely be on to a winner here. Over The Top Wrestling have been tearing up the Irish Wrestling scene with packed out over 18's only themed wrestling events featuring hard hitting, tongue in cheek pro-wrestling and comedy in a two hour long show full of thrills and spills. This will be one of their biggest events to date and a show you do not want to miss it.
