The original (and best) American Idol Kelly Clarkson made a different kind of music last weekend, ringing wedding bells as she tied the knot.
The 31-year-old singer married music manager Brandon Blackstock - who she has been dating since February 2012 - at the luxurious Blackberry Farm resort in Walland, Tennessee, on Saturday.
While the private event was kept hush at first, someone spilled the beans on Twitter saying: 'Kelly Clarkson got married at Blackberry Farm today... My sister is the chef at Blackberry Farms... Crazy!' and yesterday Kelly herself confirmed the news tweeting pictures from the ceremony to her fans.
I'm officially Mrs. Blackstock :) We got married yesterday at Blackberry Farms in TN, the most beautiful place ever! pic.twitter.com/vYYqopBAcr

Clarkson had sparked speculation of the nuptials after she filed for a marriage licence in the town of Sumner County, Tennessee, last Tuesday, which gave the couple just 30 days to get hitched. Clearly they had it all planned and wasted no time getting hitched.
Kelly had previously envisioned a big wedding with her friends and family in attendance, but she shot down those plans after becoming overwhelmed. And in case there are any bridezillas out there wondering the dress was Temperley.
Thnx Temperley 4 my beautiful dress! & thank you to my friend @JimVerraros & Maria Elena 4 the beautiful headpiece! pic.twitter.com/08FPoLloVw

Kelly is also hoping to be pregnant with her first child in time for Christmas and has admitted a baby is all she wants as a gift from Brandon, having previously said: 'I already told him that when we're past the wedding, I want a baby. I was like, 'That's my Christmas present that you can give me.' '
And on the Christmas note, Clarkson is releasing a Christmas album this week (which you may think is a completely unnecessary piece of information, but the single off it is probably the best Christmas song ever and if you can stomach it you need to get on that right away) so it looks like we're all getting a piece of Kelly's newfound joy. Congrats Mrs. Blackstock (please don't take that name).
