Most of us are on speaking terms with the horror that is waking up with a stonking hangover. Throw a randomer creeping around your house at 6:30am and you an imagine the FEAR that befell Sandra Bullock yesterday morning.
The 49-year-old actress was left fearing for her safety after she discovered an unidentified man in his late 30s had gained access into her property in Beverly Hills.
Police were called to the house at 6:30am and arrested the gentlemen, before taking him in to custody for questioning.
The star was unharmed during the break-in and charges are expected to be filed shortly, according to NBC News.
The case is being classed as a burglary because Sandra was in her home at the time, but it is still unclear whether the man was a thief or a possible stalker... either way, a pretty damn freaky thing to be dealing with when yer in the horrors.
The unnerving incident comes just hours after Sandra was presented with the Decade of Hotness prize at Spike Guys' Choice Awards, held at the Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, California, on Saturday night (07.06.14).
The brunette was presented with an antler trophy, a tiara, a sash, and a bouquet of roses - by Hugh Grant, Keanu Reeves and Matthew McConaughey, all looking thrilled to be there - before she gave her light-hearted acceptance speech.
She quipped: "I feel like I'm at my funeral. Decade of Hotness... My question was what decade? I have several under my belt. It should really be Decade of Hot Mess. That I can own and I do that well and I'm still convinced I'm up here because someone dropped out and they needed someone quickly and we know I'm home on Saturdays."
