If you've been following actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney on social media - or indeed, if you've seen the Disney Plus documentary 'Welcome to Wrexham' - you'll be aware that the famous duo have a close link to the Welsh town.
Reynolds and McElhenney bought Wrexham AFC in 2020 and their takeover propelled it to global fame - not bad going for a club in the lowly 5th division.
Over the weekend, however, Wrexham won the 5th Division league title - their first in 45 years - which means next season they will be playing in the EFL League 2 (which is the 4th division overall, underneath EFL League 1, EFL Championship and the Premier League.)
They secured their promotion with a 3-1 win over Boreham Wood, and both Reynolds and McElhenney were there in person to witness it - along with their friend Paul Rudd, who captured the moment the final whistle was blown as the two actors embrace.
McElhenney is seen to wipe a tear away as he cheers the team, with many fans and onlookers on social media praising the duo for their commitment to and passion for the club.
The 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' actor later shared the same video, tweeting: "You can see something leave both of our bodies at the same time. And then we’re filled back up with an indescribable amount of joy and gratitude."
