Um, it wasn't me, swear *pulls at collar*. Ah no, stalking is never a laughing matter, unless they belong to Keanu Reeves and seem intent on using all his amenities. Again, only joking. Stalking is not funny.
This stalker of Ryan's has been claiming to be his twin, which is particularly jarring.
The 34-year-old actor obtained the order on Wednesday (19.11.14) for a woman who has allegedly been scaring the actor with her strange behaviour for three months. That must be most inconvenient considering himself and Eva are trying to get to grips with a newborn.
According to TMZ, which obtained legal documents from the case, the woman, named Grace Marie Del Villar claimed to be the his "twin flame" and had been relentlessly sending emails and packages to the star. Ah, so she probably doesn't think they're actual twins or blood relatives, more kindred spirits. Not that that makes what she's doing acceptable.
Ryan - who has two-month-old daughter, Esmeralda Amada, with partner Mendes - was said to have been particularly unnerved when the female travelled from New York to his Los Angeles home on October 28th. During the incident, the obsessed fan reportedly claimed to be "Ryan's twin" when questioned by staff at a security gate. Then she left a strange doll catalogue for him :-/
On a separate occasion, Grace Marie allegedly sent The Notebook actor an image of Eva which had been torn from a magazine, to which she attached her contact details.
Aside from bothering the star, she also contacted Ryan's sister, Mandi, sending one message which read: "I am kicking your brother's head." Hhhhhhmmmmm.
A court has now ordered the woman to remain at least 100 yards away from the actor, Eva, and his daughter, with Mandi also securing a restraining order against Del Villar.
By the by, for those of you wondering why Ryan Gosling has never landed People's Sexiest Man Alive title (unlike Matt Damon and Chris Hemsworth), it's because he keeps turning them down. Makes sense.
