Prepare to feel all the sad emotions. Ryan Gosling is afraid his dog and best pal George is getting on in life and doesn't expect him to make it to the end of next year.
Now if you're unfamiliar with George, he's basically Gosling's wingman of 13 years that goes pretty much everywhere with him (including on set, yoga classes and onto chat shows like Jimmy Fallon below) and unfortunately he's getting on in years. So much so that Ryan was afraid to take him on the long haul flight to Iceland where he's currently filming his directorial debut How To Catch A Monster and so sent him off with his costar and girlfriend Eva Mendes' pooch to stay with dog whisperer Cesar Milan (who apparently looks after Eva's dog all the time).
'Ryan is heartbroken over George and doesn’t expect him to make it another year,' according to Star magazine. 'He didn’t want to take him on a long flight, so Eva pushed him to allow the dogs to stay with Cesar, who is her friend. Ryan is still on pins and needles being away from George. He’s fearful that something tragic will happen, so he Skypes with George and Cesar every day.'
And with that, our hearts just melted out our eyes. Heart juice. Everywhere.
